Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) said fiscal first quarter profit more than doubled as it got more orders and sold some assets.
Net profit at India’s biggest engineering and construction firm rose to Rs.966.89 crore in the three months ended 30 June from Rs.458.59 crore a year ago.
Net sales rose 10.1% to Rs.18,974.75 crore from Rs.17,241.14 crore.
